Supremacy of Christ in Joy

He comes across very loving and humble. No one can help but to listen and accept his words.
I thought I liked his writing better than seeing his preaching first hand, man was I wrong. I like his preaching as well as reading his books. I thought I would like the shorter message because of 10 points verse 2, but I am not sure now. Almost can not follow the two points because the ten points brings out so much. I love it, it’s great.
He does not think he is as relevant as Mark Driscoll, man I disagree he is very relevant and powerful. I like his preaching because he also has a very high view of Christ. He lays out his argument clearly and each point is scriptural.
I like his hand gestures, tie his hands and he would be mute. I know be nice.

I have enjoyed reading Piper's books, but His preaching is even better.  He is very difficult to follow if your not paying attention.  I had to rewind often to catch what he was saying. The joy he was talking about is new to me.  We talked a little about it in Hebrew class, the fact that it pleased the Father to crush the Son. I understood from that a little of what he was trying to say.  The part that got me most was what brings us joy. Whatever brings us real joy tells the truth of where are heart really is and what we treasure.  This made me stop and think about what truly brings me joy.  Is it the Lord?  If not I have some work to do.  He must be the greatest source of joy in my life.  I would like to listen to more of Piper's messages.(Meisha Deane)

Mark,I agree with you He is very relevent and powerful.  If one cannot relate to his preaching they have a heart problem.(Meisha Deane)
