This guy is very bold. I enjoyed his message. He did not water down any of his beliefs. I liked how he went after the Calvinists and the Armenians. He took the supremacy of Christ it every area of life and teaching. He began by going back to the basics. I liked how he told the story of Jesus. Some of his views are out of the norm of what we do today. He challenged us to examine how and why we do things the way we do. My favorite part was his stand on the Bible. He says that is where it all starts and if we cannot stand on it as truth then we might as well quit. I have been challenged over this entire semester to examine what I believe about the reasons we do what we do in our churches and how we present the gospel. The great question is, are we biblical? He has a sense of humor.
I don’t know how to say it. I like and agree with where he ends up, however, I am not sure I can really agree with how he gets there. He has a high view of Christ and down nothing but life Him up. I enjoy hearing Christ lifted up and exalted.
He goes after both Armenians and Calvinists, and postmodernism yet lifts up Christ through it all.
He contends that we must earnestly contend for the faith. He lifts up Christ, and never lays Him down. He uses scripture and logic in a way that cannot be denied. Amen

Meisha,
I agree he is aggressive in his preaching. He does not hold back.
At least he is not prejudice he goes after everyone equally.

Mark,The way he "gets there" is what makes him unique. He is definately out of the box. He is the pastor of one of the most out of the box churches, Mars Hill. He was in one of the other videos we had to watch. maybe we need to get out of the box sometimes.(Meisha Deane)
